The event will take place over two weekends – Saturday 17 to Sunday 18 and Saturday 24 to Sunday 25 June.
Event organisers intend to have a station set up at each site; and Cranwell Aviation Heritage Museum is one of them! Open from 10am to 4.30pm, see the museum make contact with other museums from around the world! Museums taking part over the years have included ships, castles, air museums, Napoleonic forts, pumping stations, wireless museums, racing museums and many others. “We’re really looking forward to this year’s festival!” says festival organiser, Jade Oliver. “We’re so excited to be able to increase the festival to a whole two weeks! We have so much planned for this July and look forward to sharing more experiences raising awareness of what North Kesteven has to offer.”

There will also be a wide range of other information available about what's on offer in the area from local sports groups to community groups. So if you're looking for a new hobby or volunteering opportunities or anything else for that matter! Come along and get involved! Visitors to the event will also be able to find out about great events coming up in the area including North Kesteven Walking Festival, and The Spires and Steeples Challenge. Discovery Days are FREE to attend, and there is no need to book. Enjoy a day out with the whole family! Please bring snacks or even a lunch, and stay all day. All aged 8 or under must be accompanied by an adult, all aged 9 or over can self-register for the activities. Consent forms will be available on the day. Please note, if you want a go on the climbing wall, please ensure you are wearing shorts or trousers. This is for safeguarding reasons.
