“We’re really looking forward to this year’s festival!” says festival organiser, Jade Oliver. “We had the best numbers so far last year and the support we received was just great. We have some great walks planned for this July and look forward to sharing more experiences raising awareness of what North Kesteven has to offer.”

Whilst you’re there you can learn about the history of the mill and its millers, try your hand at grinding grain and explore the mill. Why not take home a reminder of your day with a bag of Cogglesford Watermill’s very own flour, on sale in the shop. The milling will take place between 11am and 4pm. From Saturday 1 April, visitors can enjoy extended opening hours at Cogglesford Watermill and Navigation House in Sleaford, and Cranwell Aviation Heritage Museum in North Rauceby.
Each venue has a distinctive story linking the site to local history, capturing the imagination of visitors young and old and giving people the opportunity to learn about local heritage. Hours are as follows: Cogglesford Watermill East Road, Sleaford, NG34 7EQ Open Monday to Friday, 12 to 4pm, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, 11am to 4.30pm. Navigation House Navigation Wharf, Carre Street, Sleaford, NG34 7TW Open Monday to Friday, 12 to 4pm, Saturdays and Sundays, 11am to 4.30pm. Bank Holidays, 11am to 4pm. Cranwell Aviation Heritage Museum Heath Farm, North Rauceby, Sleaford, NG34 8QR Open Monday to Sunday, 10am to 4.30pm. A lot of work has been going on behind the scenes to give visitors a great experience and we look forward to welcoming new and returning visitors to the district.’ ‘Our venues were exceptionally popular last year which has resulted in some new developments, including a new shop at Navigation House, and improvements to the shop and refreshment seating area at Cranwell Aviation Heritage Centre. Cranwell Aviation Heritage Museum will also open their new exhibition High Flying: Pioneering Aviators which showcases the remarkable women who fought against adversity to achieve aviation history. This exhibition is open from Saturday 1 April to Sunday 24 September.
