Lots of family fun to be had this half term exploring Sleaford’s Riverside

Families this half term can get involved in lots of fun exploring Sleaford’s riverside in a joint event organised by CountrysideNK and DiscoverNK.
 
From a working watermill to a wetland meadow, discover crafts, nature trails and much more! Our Family Fun Day Discovering Sleaford’s Riverside takes place on Thursday 16 February from 10.30am to 3.30pm and is day full of crafts and nature inspired activities.

Explore Cogglesford Watermill and have a go at their Molly the Mill Mouse trail or make your own corn dolly for free! You can also take a stroll down the riverside to Navigation House where you can take part in craft activities and make your own nature inspired mobile.
 
Enjoy Nature Explorer walks with the WatchNK ranger at 11am or 1.30pm and learn about the various wildlife that can be found in Lollycocks nature reserve (please allow up to 1 hour). The WatchNK ranger will also be at Cogglesford Watermill at 12pm where you will be able to make your own bird box to take home and put in your garden (£5 per box) – please note parental supervision is advised.
